Reporting and follow-up

Every recipient of a grant for information initiatives from the Norwegian Directorate of Elections must submit a report and accounts for the initiative.

Published:

The reporting must be submitted using the Norwegian Directorate of Elections' electronic reporting form by 30 November 2021. The Norwegian Directorate of Elections expects grant recipients to provide a full description of how the grant funds have been spent and for the spending to concur with the project description.

Accounts

All grant recipients must submit accounts that clearly show what the grant funds have been spent on. The accounts must be attached to the electronic form. Alternatively, the accounts can be submitted to the Norwegian Directorate of Elections via email to post@valg.no.

For grant amounts of NOK 100,000 or more, the grant recipient must also document the implemented initiatives/projects with accounts verified by a state-authorised accountant. These accounts must be received by the Norwegian Directorate of Elections by no later than 30 June 2022. If all of the grant funds have not been spent, the unspent funds must be refunded to the Norwegian Directorate of Elections as soon as possible after the election and by no later than 10 December 2021.
