Voting in advance You can vote in advance from 10 August up and including 10 September. Voting on election day Election day is 13 September. In some municipalities you can also vote on 12 September. On these days you must vote in the municipality where you are registered as resident in the Population Register. Voting from abroad You can vote from abroad or on Svalbard and Jan Mayen from 1 July. Polling stations Find your polling station if you are voting in advance, on election day or from abroad. Help with voting Every voter who wishes to vote in the election must be able to do so. Proof of identity You must bring your ID with you when you arrive to vote. It is not sufficient to bring your polling card or to state your name and date of birth.
